Full course description
The course offers instructors insights into understanding different aspects of online course management, instructor presence, communication with students, time/work management, and accessibility. The course is designed for faculty that will teach an online course that has already been built. Upon successful completion of this course with a final score of 80% or higher, participants will be awarded a Best Practice in Online Teaching certificate. This course is fully self-paced but includes feedback from an instructor upon completion of the final project. This course will take approximately 12-15 hours to complete and you will have 45 days to complete upon registration.
Participants must have an existing online course that they have either developed, was developed and is currently taught online at the university, or have sufficient experience designing and developing online learning environments.
