
Full course description
Evaluating Quality in Online Courses is a self-paced, facilitated course designed to introduce faculty, department chairs, deans and other stakeholders in online learning to the evaluation process and rubrics used at VCU. The course is designed for stakeholders who have access to an online course that has already been built, but a sample course for evaluation can be provided upon request. In this course participants will:
- Identify the origin and use of the SUNY OSCQR rubric;
- Explain the need for and development of the VCU course rubric;
- Examine the VCU Course Rubric in detail; and
- Evaluate a course using the VCU Course rubric.
